What is Accessible Learning?

When instructional design models take into account the needs of all users, including those with disabilities, it's referred to by this name. Accessibility is a core requirement of effective educational platforms, because designers need to make sure the material is available to all users.

Learning platforms based on Moodle enjoy built-in tools to provide alt text descriptions for visual items, as well as add-ons that are capable of delivering more accessibility features, like high contrast display modes. Visual disabilities are not the only ones that need to be accommodated, either. Captions on video resources and other tools are key to providing support for everyone.
