What Is Hybrid Learning?

Often confused with blended learning, it's easy to see the two as one approach, and many hybrid learning environments look like blended ones. The difference is that hybrid learning attempts to make use of the most effective resources possible for any given learning objective, whether they sit online or off. Blended learning intentionally balances the two components. This means some hybrid courses are indistinguishable from blended ones, but others might only use face-to-face learning for specific tasks, or might only incorporate online learning for a set of limited objectives.
