What is AN LMS Vendor?

The contractor your organization hires to configure a customized LMS is the vendor, and they typically provide your support services, or at least part of them. There are core help archives and tutorial resources for platforms like Moodle, but when you have a custom configuration put in place that includes organization-specific features and plugins, you need to rely on the vendor who supplied it for the help you need to keep it updated.

An LMS vendor also provides updates and information on new features and bug fixes that come through on both patches and major system updates.
