What is Multi-Tenancy?
When a learning management system allows for separate environments for each division or department in your company so they can all customize their learning and development activities according to in-role best practices, that system has what is known as multi-tenancy.
The term and concept originated in web-based CMS systems that allowed for the administration of several web sites from a single multi-node systemic framework, and in an LMS it functions in much the same way.
