VEDAMO and eThink Education Announce Partnership to Provide Live Collaborative Teaching and Virtual Classrooms to Moodle™ Users

By January 31, 2019 No Comments

eThink Education is glad to announce a partnership with VEDAMO Virtual Classroom, an online platform for live collaborative teaching, to offer clients the opportunity to add interactive virtual classrooms into their Moodle™ platform with a seamless single sign-on. Using the virtual classroom plugin gives teachers the opportunity to enrich the learning experience of their students with live online classes launched directly within the Learning Management System (LMS).

VEDAMO Virtual Classroom is a simple solution, yet rich with features for interactive teaching, including a collaborative whiteboard and document editor, breakout rooms, screen-sharing, synchronized media players, and video conferencing for up to 25 participants. With full control over the participants, teachers can easily moderate the online sessions. The VEDAMO platform allows you to create and reuse prearranged content as templates – a huge time saver for educators. The virtual classroom also provides the ability for external monitoring in real-time and post-session by hidden observers with a recording playback feature.

eThink Education provides a comprehensive solution for the open-source Moodle™ and Totara learning platforms, covering all LMS needs including cloud-hosting, implementation, integration, consultation, and management services. eThink’s service-heavy, consultative approach to LMS support enables clients to customize their online platform to meet their unique need sets, including incorporating complimentary eLearning solutions like VEDAMO’s virtual classroom.

“VEDAMO is excited to collaborate with a respected Moodle™ Partner like eThink Education and offer Moodle™ users the full resources they need to conduct quality online training in one place,” said Svetlana Savova, VEDAMO’s Partnerships and Communications Director. “The seamless integration of VEDAMO Virtual Classroom in the Moodle™ LMS allows for live interaction between a teacher and group of learners during self-paced online courses. Thus the teacher can create an active community that shares ideas, garners feedback, starts discussions, and encourages collaboration.”

“VEDAMO is incredibly passionate about creating an engaging and effective digital learning experience. With their virtual classroom solution, VEDAMO provides a highly interactive learning atmosphere for all levels of the educational experience from K-12 to Higher Education and beyond to professional education,” said Brian Carlson, CEO and Co-Founder of eThink Education. “We’re excited to offer VEDAMO’s virtual classroom to Moodle™ by eThink users so that both learners and educators can enjoy a more collaborative learning space.”
